The Information technology Specialist  works under the general supervision of the Lab Supervisor who makes assignments in broad and general outlines in terms of policy, limitations, priorities and urgency. 

 

This Career Group consists of positions that provide systems analysis development, installation, modification, maintenance, monitoring and/or integration of computer operating systems, applications, networks and databases to meet business needs. Positions range from entry to director level and cross several functional areas including Applications Programming/Analysis, Systems Engineering, Network Analysis/Engineering, IT Analysis, Equipment and Applications Specialty, Database and Security.
